vCard QR code FAQ
What exactly is a vCard?
It's the standard contact file format (.vcf) understood by every smartphone. The vCard QR code encodes that file: scanning offers to add it to contacts.
What's the minimum size on a business card?
Allow at least 0.8 × 0.8 in (2 × 2 cm) for comfortable scanning. A vCard holds a lot of data: keep it lean so the pattern stays readable.
Can I put my logo in the center?
Yes. Pick error correction level H (30%): the code stays scannable even with a centered logo. Our scannability check warns you if the logo is too big.
Does the code expire?
Never. Your details are encoded directly into the pattern, with no middleman server: the printed code will work forever.
