Always test your QR code before printing it
A QR code can become unreadable if printed too small, with insufficient contrast, on a glossy or textured surface, or when covered by an oversized logo. Before any print run, scan your code from the final proof, with several different phones (iPhone and Android) and at the actual reading distance. VixQR cannot be held liable for an unusable print run.
1. Service provided "as is"
VixQR is made available free of charge, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee continuous availability, freedom from errors, or fitness for a particular purpose. You use VixQR at your own risk.
2. Readability of generated codes
Our tool includes a scannability check that warns you about contrast, logo size and inverted colors. This assistance is indicative: it is not a guarantee that a code will scan. Final readability depends on factors outside our control — print quality, material, lighting, distance, phone model, and the scanning app used.
Artistic and colored codes are inherently harder to read than a plain black-on-white code. They require a more generous print size and systematic testing.
3. Content encoded by users
Each user is solely responsible for the content they encode into their QR codes and for how they use them. Because generation is entirely local, VixQR has no knowledge of and no control over that content, does not host it and does not moderate it.
If you scan a QR code created with VixQR by someone else, the destination is the sole responsibility of its creator. As with any QR code, check the address shown before confirming it, and be wary of codes posted in public spaces.

The articles, guides and answers published on this site are provided for informational purposes. They do not constitute professional, legal, technical or commercial advice, nor a guarantee of results, and may contain inaccuracies or be out of date by the time you read them.

This site may link to third-party websites for your convenience. We control neither their content nor their practices, and mentioning them implies neither recommendation nor endorsement.
6. Trademarks and independence
"QR Code" is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE Incorporated. Other trademarks mentioned on this site (WhatsApp, WiFi, social networks, file hosting services, etc.) belong to their respective owners and are referenced solely for descriptive and interoperability purposes. VixQR is an independent project, with no affiliation, partnership or endorsement from these companies, nor from the brands its users choose to associate with their QR codes.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher of VixQR disclaims all liability for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, this site — including loss of data, loss of revenue or opportunities, commercial or reputational harm, printing costs incurred, unreadable or misprinted codes, content encoded by third parties, and interruption or unavailability of the service.
